Live Music and Disco (Demi's Buggy Appeal)

On Sat 25th Sept we held our first charity event in aid of Demi's Buggy Appeal and raised £747!

All the worry and frantic preparations were well worth it as our night of Live Music, Disco Dancing, Fun and Games went better than we could have imagined.

Everyone had a great time and we raised an amazing £747 pounds (£147 more than we had estimated) towards the total needed to buy Demi her specialist foldable buggy and accessories.  Read more about our Demi's Buggy Appeal campaign.

Demi was on the dancefloor from start to finish as the crowd was entertained by two live vocal acts, Paul Gardner (Swing and Jazz) and Janice Gilroy (Pop Classics).

The rest of the night saw plenty of dancing, from the sublime (take a bow Demi) to the ridiculous (you know who you are - Robert) interspersed with a few games and our big Prize Draw which was wonderfully supported by both those donating prizes and those buying tickets by the bookful!

Thanks to everyone who helped organise and attended the event, we had a hoot and hope you had too.
